Description:  This session will focus on the use of conversational voice AI in World Languages. Want to give your World Languages students a safe, supportive space to develop speaking skills? Virtual Arkansas has developed an AI voice chatbot for our new Spanish I course that reduces anxiety by creating a judgment-free environment where students can practice conversations at their own pace. Each learner receives personalized feedback that builds confidence while prompting reflection on their learning process. In this session, We'll demonstrate how our students use this custom-built conversation partner, explain how it develops metacognitive awareness alongside language skills, and show how structured interactions scaffold interpersonal communication growth.
