Corwin Battle

Sergeant Corwin Battle began his law enforcement career in August 2003 after graduating from Arkansas State University and entering the Arkansas Police Corps, a federally funded program aimed at employing college-educated officers in local and state agencies while promoting community policing efforts across Arkansas.
Following his graduation, Sergeant Battle joined the Texarkana, Arkansas Police Department as a patrol officer until 2008. He then transitioned to the Arkansas State Police, starting in the Highway Patrol Division in Hope. In 2012, he moved to the Criminal Investigation Division and was soon assigned to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. He is a certified forensic computer and mobile device examiner through the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS) and specializes in network intrusion incident response. Additionally, Sergeant Battle has been a member of the U.S. Secret Service Cyber Fraud Task Force (formerly the Electronic Crimes Task Force) since 2014 and has completed and proctored numerous courses at the USSS National Computer Forensics Institute in Hoover, Alabama. In February 2023, he assumed the role of Arkansas Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Commander.
Sergeant Battle holds a B.A. in Criminology and an M.A. in Criminal Justice. He has collaborated with and provided forensic services to local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, DHS, ATF, USSS, and the National Park Service.
