1010 – Breaking the Attack Chain: Preventing Lateral Movement in Windows Environments

Presenter: DIS
Class Size: 20
Price: – $300 includes tech bundle
Description: Attackers don’t need to break everything — they just need to move. This full-day, hands-on workshop dives deep into the techniques and configurations that stop lateral movement inside your network before it ever starts. Participants will be guided through modern authentication methods, encryption and signing of network traffic, and the identification and elimination of outdated or risky protocols that attackers love to exploit.
You’ll work directly with Windows Server hardening strategies using Group Policy, Local Windows Firewall rules, and secure configuration baselines. The session also includes
practical implementation of LAPS for credential hygiene and AppLocker for application control, giving you realworld tools to reduce attack surface and strengthen domain security.
Participants will leave with actionable configurations, a clearer understanding of internal attack paths, and the confidence to lock down their environment against modern threats.
